The showers at Manly this morning had me slightly worried as I expected big things from today. By lunchtime it was clear I would not be disappointed. A beautiful clear day and at the top of the tide, a rather sexy little shore break at North Steyne.
The surf life savers had their work cut out. There was a decent swell today and being holiday season there was rarely a minute passed by without a piercing whistle from one of our red and gold volunteers.
Dodging tourists in the surf was my biggest challenge today. Getting a clear shot proved difficult amongst a big holiday crowd but it was a small price to pay. This place is Heaven on Earth and it comes to life in Summer. Being a resident just makes me lucky, it gives me no special rights - I just want to capture and record it's beauty for anyone who loves it as much as I do... jj
