Most of my Seascape photos are taken on Sydney's northern beaches and Queensland's Sunshine Coast. I like to combined natural water movement and slow shutter speeds to give my images a tranquil, silky feel. jj

The Australian coastline has some of the most volatile surf conditions in the world and it's beauty leaves me breathless. Although I'm not a surfer I'll never grow tired of swimming in the ocean. Every chance I get I'll be out there with my waterproof camera ducking under waves, diving over them and getting smashed onto the sand. I love every minute of it and if I come out of the water after a 2 hour session, sore and grazed with only one great image, it's been worth it. jj

My home. I've lived here for a third of my life and if I'm lucky I'll see out my days here. The northern beaches are special to me and most of my photos are from the area. If the Sun and the Clouds synchronise and perform their magic there is no better place to be for a photographer. jj
